Thanks to an exceptional autumn 2007 I had the opportunity for the first time to share a secret family passion with my clients: sweet wines.
L’Effronté, made from the grape variety Aligoté, offers a range of fresh fruit aromas such as quince, peach and apricot. The balance between sweetness and acidity with 79 grams of sugar per litre is the result of a light infestation with botrytis. The richness of this wine derives from the concentration of the grapes thanks to beautiful and sunny days between October and early November. It is a divine accompaniment to foie gras terrines as well as desserts made from fresh fruit, especially rhubarb and passion fruit. |
